My high school marching band marched to a medley of Styx songs.

Needless to say, they are not cool enough to be America's best band.

Adam Sandler's character in Big Daddy stated that Styx was underrated

I asked a buddy I play disc golf with and sometimes jam with, he said for him it was Steely Dan as a clear #1.

Hey...is anyone really in the mood to explore a particular band next week? I can pull a name out if a hat but I like to share.

Can we wait a bit on that one? It poses challenging questions of scope. I do think you could make the claim, that's not the question. It's also why I'd like to hold off on, e.g., Blackeyed Peas and Maroon 5.

Steely Dan is the next closest though!

    Sure. Playing in the background!

Although Seasons is just Chris Cornell solo. He recorded himself and three guitar overlays.

    I love music so much.

Cool. I have a penchant for it. Not sure what penchant means but think I'm using correctly. But that's cool hawg. My younger brother is pretty talented singing and rhythm. But I and some (possibly many for all I know) only know. Straight up though hes kinda a dick
