If browning has played like he did when he got his chance… Chubb will be quickly forgotten…
Depending on the pick, it’ll be somewhere in the 20’s. We don’t have ammo to move up but maybe we get a value pick there.

I didn’t think they’d get a 1st round pick, this is important.

Not really enamored with the deal. Everyone is excited about the first, the draft is ******* crap shot and I don't think you trade proven talent for the unknown. With the wealthiest owner in the NFL they could of figure out a way to bring him back.
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers
They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard
Yeah, we could get a pass rusher that plays really good his rookie year, then is hurt for the next 3 years!
I kid! I kid! Crapshoot or not, that 1st round pick is huge. It's also a gamble thinking Chubb might WANT to stay in Denver or getting lesser compensation. We have depth, and it feels like they have been working on replacing Chubb the past few years. I get your point though, its hard to part ways when he's been playing so well lately.;
Hate this trade, you guys gushing over getting the 31’st or 32nd pick back as too good to pass up are fools that always value picks over players. Loser move by a loser GM for what has become a loser franchise two years in a row.
You don't understand the business side of football. There's not a GM that wouldn't of made that move. He's going to be a free agent. You either franchise him (over-paid) or you pay an ungodly amount to re-sign him. He's probably not even worth a no#1 pick in reality, if you look at his previous years. The injuries, his stat line, etc., Yeah he had a good rookie year and he's played well this year. That's not enough to get a 1st round pick, but desperate teams that have a decent chance of making the playoffs, make desperate moves. That's what happened here and we took advantage of it. Smart move.

BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE
Nobody is gushing over the 32nd pick … yet, cross that bridge when we get to it.

Broncos agree to terms on trade with Dolphins to acquire 2023 first-round pick, 2024 fourth-round pick and RB Chase Edmonds for OLB Bradley Chubb, 2025 fifth-round pick

Probably not. Nelson has been worthless this season, his contract is awful, and he doesn't play an impact position. Chubb in his two good seasons had more impact those years than Nelson did in any of his seasons with Indy. I believe Nelson is getting paid twenty million a year...to be a guard. Horrid roster construction and you'd be stuck paying that.
Chubb peaked as a rookie when he was playing alongside a prime Von. He's never matched that sack total again and has struggled to stay healthy. He is almost certainly going to be way overpaid for what he actually produces on his next deal, and I'm way happier to have the first rounder than to be the team who pays it.

George Paton said he would have made this Chubb trade even if Broncos were 5-3 and not 3-5. Got too much value in return. (First round pick). #9sports

And now I officially have 1001 reasons to hate and root against the 49ers.
