If the only thing that looks stupid about the Broncos Sunday is their jerseys I'll take it though lol

Just show me SOME sort of progress! Can we get past that 16 point barrier?

The new ownership group was like, "How can we put our stamp on this team?"

    Rob Walmart: "New uniform combination"

Equipment staff: "But they don't even match"

Rob Walmart: "Who is in charge here?"

Eh, I think the shadows make the blue on the jersey look darker. I doubt they are actually different colors.

I just watched the 1979 playoff game between the Broncos and Oilers on youtube for some reason. I thought I am sure glad we stopped wearing dark pants with white jerseys as the look is just weird. But here we are.

If they want to look like the people of Walmart, they should just let them play in sweatpants.
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

This just further highlights why we are in need of a uniform modernization. The late 90s was cool, but these uniforms are outdated. These look best when it's the blue jersey. They weren't created to be worn with an orange top, that was an afterthought a decade+ later. They weren't made to be worn with colorful pants as is obvious by those stripes.

It's time to stop looking goofy...once we get rid of our goofy HC!

I've read two articles this am saying that it's a great thing that the Bronco's are playing in London this week. It get the team away from constant scrutiny from the media. That our stadium is the most toxic place for this team to play right now.

This makes me really sad because Mile High use to be the place where other teams feared to come to. Our fans were so loud that opposing teams had to play against the players and the crowd. I hate it that our frustrations are giving opposing teams a field advantage.

BTW Russell is playing on Sunday. I hope his hammy is really better and that the time away is helping to get them on the same page.

I'm disappointed that the stadium and fans in attendance have become so hostile to the team.

I'm old enough to remember stories (not quite old enough to have been there) of how the fans filled the stadium and cheered and supported clearly subpar teams that had no hope of championships. And it helped! Every once in a while we knocked off the Raiders or some other big name team.

If the fans can make a difference in a positive way, you damn well better believe they can make a difference in a negative way. Boo to the fans who've been showing up lately, and kindly get off my lawn.

Back in the days you're talking about these players were part timers who worked summer jobs and a family of 4 could afford to go to a game without taking out a second mortgage. These times aren't those times. It's expensive as hell to go to these games, and the fans who pay for that privilege have every right to want to get value for their money. And when the QB who we are paying 250 million bucks and our next 3 drafts for goes out there and shits the bed week after week and we can't even do simple things like get plays off before the play clock runs out, fans are completely justified in making their displeasure known.

Spare me this "oh it helps these poor sad players on a bad teams when the fans give them some good ole pep and encouragement!" These are professionals who have been specializing in this game since they were in middle school. If they can't handle fans booing their poor play, maybe they should pick a different profession.

Sorry, but you lose me when your argument is "well this is how is was 50 years ago!".

Fine, but then cheering when they do well is equally absurd.

I’m pretty sure my Dad was watching this game. I’m sure I was there watching it with him. I was 5 1/2 yrs old at the time. He was a big Oilers fan back then.
