It was the same quality of line he had in Seattle. It’s kind of funny watching you all pretend like his line was historically bad and insurmountable. Especially for a mobile QB. It’s almost become a point of pride acting like that. Bad form!

Laugh all you ******* want but that’s the worst OL the dude has ever had, the worst OL I’ve ever watched.

And Pete was smart enough to establish a run game, move the pocket, shorten routes, etc. rather than continuing the exact same thing over and over.

We shall see, neither you, Wave, nor I have the answers. We all have a hypothesis, we shall see.

If he’s anything less than a stud, elite af as the youth says, I’m going to feel solid on my end.

Pete was smart enough to never put an OL this bad in front of a QB that holds the ball, refuses to check down and tries to make plays on every down.

    Davii's an awesome opossum.
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

This is literally wrong. Seattle has had a bottom third line for ages. Literally worse than Denver’s more often than not.

Probably in week 1. The injuries decimated an already suspect group. Dude never had a chance. With competent coaches, a healthy and hopefully improved OL, WRs who stay on the field and my new favorite TE for 17 games, top 10-12 rank is very obtainable.

Allen, Tua, Burrow, Mahomes, Sunshine, the Duck, Hurts, Rodgers. Who is definitely better if he gets back to form? Dak? Cousins? Goff? Jackson? He may be 12th at worst if he resembles his old self even a little

I think folks are really overrating Seattles line the last seven years.

Geno Smith thrived with a bad line this year…same system same players

Stop excusing the inexcusable out of OL ideology. <3

Nobody is saying it was good. Ours was bad and then our starters disappeared. Seattle didn't reach that level of poo. And Seattle didn't have the same line this year. They got solid play from the rooks.

Lamar, Burrow, Allen, Tua, Lawrence, Mahomes, Herbert, are all safe bets to be better. Tua is only shaky because of health. Those are just AFC QBs.

Rodgers, Cousins, and to a lesser extent Goff aren’t bad bets either. Stafford and Murray and wild cards due to health. Arguments could me made for Carr, Daniel Jones, etc. Hurts and Dak are also there.

It can’t just be that Russ is schemed into successs like an old Brees. If he’s not that dude in his own right you’ll be moving on next season.

Yours was average and then it was hurt.

I’m also talking about Russ for seasons in Seattle…and the line he had.
