I am buying AIC stock rn in the zeitgeist markets btw. AIC and Soundgarden stock. They were the real genius grunge bands imo. Especially Soundgarden. PJ the better "band" all else equal.
I'm totally confused by this post. You mentioned heresy previously when I said AIC, sound garden, and Pearl Jam were better bands than nirvana.

Those three bands would have been three of my top during that time period I was a huge grunge fan. You can throw a Temple of the dog in there as well.

During that same period of time I would have been listening to a lot of early metallica, some smashing pumpkins, Rage, Pantera and Cypress Hill also had a pretty heavy place in the rotation.

You can't relate to this kinger but riding around the neighborhood on my bike listening to 10 in the early 90s was the beginning of teenage angst. Again as a musician those other bands had better musicians better vocalists and I liked the lyrical content better from the other three bands.

This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Best Cornell performance was Say Hello 2 Heaven, imo, gives me goosebumps.

I posted the clip in the Payton thread, but I do love that he's starting the process of knocking Russ off his pedestal by saying no more of his private coaches/staff around the building. Hopefully the private office and parking spot are next to go.

I had (and still have) my reservations about Payton, but the one thing you can't deny is that he has the pull and the credibility to tell Russ exactly where he can stick his antics.
