I’m sure the Seattle market will have the pleasure of continually showing Bronco games if they keep sucking. LoL!

The pre season wouldn’t have changed a damn thing! What part of rodgers needing an entire year before he took off in this offense don’t you folks get though? How would a few extra reps in pre season solve a process that takes a year? Smh come on man you guys gotta be brighter than this

I played a video from Bill Simmons on the last video i did with King last week where they talked about the responsibilities that Hackett has as a HC and they stated he simply was not fulfilling those requirements currently. As Wave pointed out, Hackett would have to literally hit it out of the park the rest of the way (even if we go 9-8) to retain his job. I dont think the FO in Denver will bring him back solely based off the injury bug as every team goes through those types of things.
I disagree I saw issues the first 2 games with game management. I don't see it the same now. If we want to blame Hackett for players not executing I guess that's what it is then but that's not it for me. I think the Hackett hate is unjustified and overblown and again gives players playing shitty a free pass. I think Hackett deserves criticism for being to soft with pre-season and I think he had issues with game management he has addressed. Outside that I'm pretty happy when doing a deep dive into his offense and play calling. Were a few plays away from being 3-2 or 4-1...its that simple.

I do also agree however you are what your record says you are and short of our injuries as the head of the ship you bear responsibility to get it right and fix it. Its just way to early to make that call for me, and he was given a lot of the players he has to work with by Paton and a lot of the players just aren't that good or cant stay healthy and don't belong on this roster. That was clear all-offseason and is now playing out exactly that way......

Agreed I was only on the Pederson or Hackett trains. Side note everyone was all over Pederson the first 3 games about how amazing Jacksonville and Lawrence look, and now media and fans are saying after the last 2 games they have been fleeced as well LMAO....Fickle, fickle fickle......

This logic can cut both ways though. We're also just a few plays from being 0-5, as both of our wins were barely squeaked out. I think our current record fairly accurately reflects the team's overall level of play.

Which is why I said we are what are record says we are.....plenty of times.....it does reflect that, but 2-3 in a 17 game season with a entirely overblown media trope about Hackett's offensive philosophy being the problem nd he is some horrible coach and shitting the bed when it seems clear player execution and things like a talentless OL are the actual root of most of our issues. Guess I'm just not on the Hackett hate train.....is what it is....

getting Simmons back and Starting Purcell, Jones, Jones on the DL would help. Replacing Kjax with sterns will also help. I worry about Mathis and OJ filling the void of Darby though, Darby is a good dude, and a above avg. corner at times when healthy he just never is. However he was playing well before injury and a rookie and a struggling former 3rd rd cb in OJ are a bit worrisome to fill that void.....

Yes to Simmons. He's a game changer. He can't get back soon enough. Sterns, Yes also! He may be a game changer and I like KJax. Darby not healthy...We have left at corner what we have left. I think one of the two grows into the spot. Maybe I'm just hoping.

Don’t sleep on Mathis at corner.

He has flashed this off-season but also struggled last Thursday at times. As a rookie it could be rough as teams try to avoid Surtain. Either him or OJ will have to step up in big ways its that simple....
