Several counterpoints to this post and argument:
1. No idea who ever said Jake Plummer was a great QB because he wasn't.
2. To my knowledge, Jake Plummer's salary cap hit never ranked as high among QBs as Kirk Cousins, which while with the Vikings has ranked as follows:
2018: Tie for 6th;
2019: 4th;
2020: 15th;
2021: 2nd; and
2022: #3.

When a QB is being paid that highly compared to the other QBs in the league, you expect and should receive a lot more than Kirk Cousins has provided the Vikings.
