Purdy is playing well. He is, however, in a pretty easy scenario.

Lynch has a shot at the HoF.
Even i couldnt of imagined Purdy playing as well as he has. Even on that missed TD with Aiyuk that was just a footballer play there. Those are the types of plays that Elway made back in his day.
The 49ers pick is going to wind up being the last or second to last pick in the first round. Go ahead and give that to the Saints for Payton if Harbaugh doesn’t pan out. I was against giving up a 1st for him initially but now it’s almost going to be a 2nd.
I'm gonna say it: Broncowave doesn't hi-five enough of my posts and quite frankly I'm going to write a stern letter to him. That letter will also be more aggressive than the Seahawk's offense!
Jim Brown, Earl Campbell, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Eric Dickerson. Bo might have been the best of them all if he'd stayed healthy. If Sanders had played on that Cowboys team, he'd have every record by a mile, and probably about five rings.
Go Jags!
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
