This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
I thought it was pretty obvious that it was a foul, but it wasn't so late that he was trying to be dirty. He ****** up. I do think it was pretty stupid, given down, distance, and time left on the clock. However, I must be getting soft in my old age as you have all made me somewhat feel for the guy.
I don't like this change in myself.

I don't think pulling up was the issue. When I watch the play the contact comes from the push via hands and not body. What makes it mind-meltingly stupid is that he extended his arms when Mahomes was clearly out.
Should that define his career? No. Are the Bengals in position to go to OT without that dude playing lights out? Nope. Did he basically end the game for KC in that moment? Yeah. Was is big dumb? Yeah. Did Cincinnati not turn the ball over twice, drop key passes, and do a whole slew of other shit that was just as impactful, thus making Wave's point? Yeah. But JFC that was big big dumb.
The key point in all this is that John Fox is a spineless ***** for kneeling at the end of that game instead of trying to get into FG range. Now I'm just pissed off all over again thinking about it!
I don’t think it was stupid, I think he just didn’t see how close they were to the sideline and didn’t want Myhomie to get into FG range. I think he just wanted to win.

It is still hard to fathom how well Mahomes has played with a bunch of stiffs at WR and only a real threat at TE. JJSS and MVS are third WRs at best these days.
Who thinks we’ll see a day when that Reddick hit on Purdy is Roughing the Passer?
I can totally see it happening.

See a day? Right now I am surprised anytime a defender gets near the QB and a flag isn't thrown.
Ya know, despite Chiefs defenders landing on Burrow with their full weight multiple times with no penalty. NFL is basically the WWE now, it's getting dangerously close to unwatchable.
