I guess I’m a little surprised he was released so early. I would think if they wanted to sign him to the PS, they would’ve waited until tomorrow. Maybe they really liked Muaga on Saturday night for the PS? Has Singleton done enough to make the team? I didn’t notice him much.

James was supposed to make $10M last year. He got $500k signing bonus with Ravens so tearing Achilles while working out on his own (and not team facility) cost him $8.4 million. Unfortunate deal all the way around. #9sports

I kinda want them to keep Mauga around. He was by far our best ILB in the preseason. Dude played very well against the run. Plus, he wore the green dot helmet and called the defense in the second half. As far as I’m concerned, he’s our 3rd best ILB behind Jewell and Griffith.

I have never met a nicer, kinder man that walked on the Bronco field. He's just a amazing person. I would guess they don't want to lose Brett, but this does break my heart.

Steelers a perfect for for Malik Reed. 3-4 and they know how to bring pressure. He should be a top rotational OLB. Multiple teams were interested in Malik once he went on trade block.
The trade also means Broncos have no worries about Randy Gregory's health for opener. #9sports

Happy to see we got some compensation for Malik Reed. Dude was theoretically too good to cut but always underwhelming.

Little surprised with Johnson, while he isnt spectacular i felt he outplayed Rypien in the preseason.

Thank you Carol, I didn't know Josh could go on the practice squad. He is from Oakland, I think. A group of kids came to Denver for a tournament, they were really young, from Oakland, CA. They have a spot at camp for special groups to get autographs. Their coach told me that something really bad happened to one of their players before this tournament and he talked to Josh. Josh keeps in touch with these coaches it sounds like. Josh arrangement for them to have the area and talked to the team. I bet half the team walked over and interacted with these kids. Josh got behind the ropes and talked, did high fives and so many pictures as did Derek Bolles. They were laughing and smiles all around. I talked to their coach as we were walking out and he told me the connection. I thought Josh was amazing for doing the interaction before I found out he set it all up. The coach said that this will help them deal with their grief. He's the type of person that makes you feel like you matter. It's so rare in today's professional sports.
