Default Taylor Swift can't hold Stevie Nick's jock strap.

This is because Stevie Nicks doesn't have a jock strap.

However, in the metaphorical sense, perhaps Taylor Swift isn't quite the musical creative that Stevie Nicks is. After all, we know that cocaine and leg spreading is the path towards greatness.

Must be tough on Taylor, afterall she whines about it constantly in her music.

My daughter loves Taylor Swift. I made her mad one day because she was telling me all about how this song is about that ex-boyfriend and how terrible he was and that song is about how bad this ex was and on and on and on and on.......

I told her that usually, not necessarily every time but the vast majority of times a person has that many failed bad relationships, the majority of blame is probably on them.

The funny thing is that the biggest thing my daughter and I sorta butt heads about is her infatuation with the vapid and dramatically overrated Taylor Swift. No actual arguments or anything, just good natured ribbing. My daughter and I are like two peas in a pod for the most part, we're essentially the same person but with differing political opinions and music tastes. She has however turned me into a closet Harry Styles fan, not all of his stuff but he is a talented young man who has some good tunes.

I don't care if Taylor Swift sucks to date. She probably does. Her music is fantastic. Hit after hit after hit. Even the very first stuff she put out over 15 years ago still holds up. Her personal life is what it is, but I'll defend her music to the death.

Yeah. Idk. Nicks is good. But she's kinda a groupie. With a killer voice. Idk her songwriting chops. She springboarded off Mic Fleetwood and the gang.

I'm not that into Taylor Swift, but she's pretty ******* legit imo.

Not sure what to tell you. Her shit's good. She was a country star, then transitioned to a pop star, then she put out a darker album which was great, then did a few indie type albums which were great, she can do it all!

Obviously it's all subjective so no one is changing anyone's mind, but for my money she's the best solo artist of the last two decades.
