Yeah I know but damn I just expected him to have an idea of what’s going on since he’s played in so many defenses

Wilson ain’t gone hit our heads with the money, he’ll get paid but he’s going to go like James harden and help the team so he can win championships instead of worrying about being the highest paid guy so he can make sure he wins because that’s the only way we’re going to remain competitive or else he’d just be in another situation like seattle where there’s not much around him forcing him to play hero ball and be getting hit and shit as he gets up in age. I know he don’t wanna do that so I believe he’ll take less

Dude, you are dreaming. Wilson is going to be the highest paid player in NFL history, and it's most likely going to be all guaranteed money. He has all the leverage to do it and he has an agent that will push for it.

"Wilson is rumored to seek $250 million over five years — $50 million annually — on his next pact, most (or all) of which could be fully guaranteed. It's unclear how much, if any, negotiational progress the sides have made since Wilson's March acquisition."

I just hope they get it done before the season starts, but not sure they will. If Wilson holds off on signing until next offseason, I bet the number jumps to 60 per year after Lamar Jackson and Justin Herbert ink new deals.

Rumors is rumors . Like I said James harden coulda got 50 million as well and he opted to take 37 so he could have a better team around him for a better chance at winning ring’s. There was people saying the same shit your saying prior to him proving all of you wrong!

Giving up draft picks when we have less than normal and vastly overpaying for a ILB is a bad move.

    Players Who Have Been Cut

    Guard, Ben Braden (waived/injured)
    Safety, Jamar Johnson (waived)
    Running Back, Max Borghi (waived)
    WR/KR, Kaden Davis (waived)
    Tight End, Rodney Williams (waived)
    Wide Receiver, Travis Fulgham (waived)

Pj Locke already ruined it for one of our late round draft picks at safety Jamar. Dudes just been balling. We have some good depth everywhere but ILB lol. Far as defense goes

Roquan is not coming to Denver. Besides the fact that the Bears have said they are not trading him, we don’t have the draft capital to get him, and he will want too much $$$ than we can afford considering Wilson is the priority right now.

Putting all that aside, if Paton was remotely interested, he would’ve been on the phone already, and not signed Schobert.
