Default 'Baby Feet' Bonitto had good feeling about Broncos from earlier visit

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Vincent Bonitto could tell his son was excited about the NFL team he had just met.

It was the final week NFL teams could bring in one of their 30 draft prospects for a visit. Nik Bonitto, the oldest of two sons raised by Vincent and Sandra Bonitto and an edge rusher from the University of Oklahoma, had just finished his top 30 visit with the Broncos on Monday, April 18.

“He called me from the airport after his visit here, saying how much he loved it,’’ Vincent said. “And he didn’t do that after his other visits. This was the only one where he called me after it was done. He loved the way his visit went here. Everything about it.”

Bonnito!!!!!! Boy finna beast out getting after the quarterback and hopefully only dropping back into coverage OCCASIONALLY. I don’t have much desire in watching our pass rushers try to cover wide outs and shit smh. I keep hearing about how he can do it but is it really in our best interest to have pass rushers covering guys way faster than them? I don’t think so

    Enjoying this.

Who is #50 on Kansas St.? Bonitto abused that man. I wonder what his pedigree is.

Physique, style, and motor...but it might be a long time before we see Von's teleportation ability after the ball is snapped. I'd like to hear more from Coach Chaz...because I spout bs...but my initial vibe is that Bonitto has elite hands and recognition.

Yeah, I don’t believe I watched one OU game this year, because I’ve never heard of Bonitto. Are at least that I can recall.

I believe his high motor in the highlights is what reminded me.

Dude will be legit. He had no business falling to us in rd 2. I thought he would be gone in the first 40-45 picks. Needs to add some more functional strength, but his skill set is advanced at this stage.
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

    FA

I can see the comparison on the bend and agility but I didn't see that amazing first step Von had/has. When Von times it right you're beat the second that ball is snapped. What impressed me most on all those highlights where the ones where Bonitto didn't make the initial play but never stops and wound up being there for the fumble, etc. High motor, high talent. If he works hard at learning and improving he should be a big talent for us.

His motor is guaranteed a massive reason Hackett and Paton wanted him. Its elite level. He is a good LR guy and has some varied pass rush moves as well. I'm pretty stoked with the player he is already. Hopefully this sends Malik Reed back to the bench where he belongs. For Bonitto to be a 3 down player in the pros though he will have to add some functional strength though to be effective at the pro level against the run, and help his pass rush set.
