Thread: I’m unable to see imbedded YouTube videos.

I’m not a computer savvy person and for some reason recently I’ve been unable to see the imbedded YouTube videos that people post. I’ve checked through my settings and I’m pretty sure I haven’t changed anything. I can even still post them, I just can’t see them after I post them. The only way I Know they are even there is to quote the post and then I can see the imbed link/address thing. Is anyone else having this problem? If not, what did I somehow turn off or on to block the YouTube imbeds? I still see memes, gifs, and tweets just fine.

I've seen the same issue at times but I noticed it was how the video was embedded. Can you see the video embedded below?

How about the same video embedded in a different manner?

Nope. When I quote it like I am now, I can see text but I cannot see the video

Is it possible I inadvertently changed a setting in my Control Panel somewhere?

Mine is doing the act same as yours. So it’s not just a you problem.

Maybe an ad blocker or the like?

I see the video fine.

Maybe that’s what it is. I’m always on my phone. Maybe it’s an Apple IOS update thing?

Yeah I can’t see them on mobile only desktop. Been like that awhile.

That's just another reason why y'all should ditch iOS and go Android.

I still have my Android phone sitting here…. YouTube embed works on there but not on my iPhone.

Same issue on my iPad and Mac. So definitely an IOS thing.
