Kubes forced an All-Time GOAT of all GOAT’s into his shitty system instead of running the system that All-Time GOAT of all GOAT’s could still run in his sleep, I’m just gonna go ahead and assume that utterly predictable POS scheme was the reason for all the Int’s.

I remember Kubiak taking a time out because the absolute master of audibles had the audacity to try to change Kubiak’s play at the line of scrimmage.
Credit where its due, Kubiak coached his ass off, but that Super Bowl win had absolutely nothing to do with his ****** up scheme, imo they are a far better offense if they just stick to what PFM knew for his entire career. Kubiak was too arrogant for that and PFM deserves credit for swallowing his pride (something Kubiak has literally never done).

The point stands; The coaching tree has never developed shit, they inevitably go with scrubs that can already paint-by-numbers.
We’ll see what Jr does with Lance, my guess is Lance gets about 18 games and then Jr puts in Bobby Beathard’s Scrubby Doo nieces nephew.

Duuuude, that final year Pey Pey was in dire straits with his health. I know Kubiak's system was pretty conservative but most of Manning's issue was his health which is why he needed to take off some games. Thats not theory that is just fact brother which is why he ended up retiring the following year. His body was simply not able to do it anymore.
As a OC Kubiak was pretty damn good, HC not so much. If not for Wade in 2015 that SB doesnt happen especially with Manning's health and play for most of that year. I think Manning really only had one great game and that was against the Packers earlier in the year. But as an OC Kubiak was pretty good which is why the Ravens were so pissed about losing him.
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
I never said PFM wasn’t a ghost of himself … I said Kubiak forced him to run his godawful system, which was clearly a poor decision. The fact that PFM wasn’t full strength makes that decision even more stupid, imo.
PFM could run his system in his sleep, he’s infinitely smarter than Kubiak … it had to be the worst experience of his career.
Thank Wade Phillips for making it all worthwhile (Kubiak almost ****** that up too).
