    Default 25 Mocks

I checked out 25 mock drafts. Results for Denver are as follows:
    Pickett, QB, Pitt x5
    Ojabo, Edge, Michigan x4
    Willis, QB, Liberty x3
    Gardner, CB, Cincinnati x3
    Lloyd, LB, Utah x2
    Dean, LB, Georgia
    Karlaftis, Edge, Purdue
    Cross, OT, Mississippi State
    Davis, DT, Georgia
    Stingley Jr, CB, LSU
    Corral, QB, Mississippi
    Walker, DE, Georgia
Johnson, Edge, Florida State (trade back to 20)

NFL Network and ESPN guys seem to also lean Pickett heavy for us with a few outliers

The only one I don’t want is Karlaftis, 9 is too high for Walker.

Walker is such a monster though. I think he is completely untapped. He may be the 1 non QB reach I'd actually be excited about.

Ojabo, Gardner or Lloyd would be my preferences on that list

I would be in heaven if we took Pickett.

Lloyd would be my guy. I'm not sold on a QB at 9. I think we'll look elsewhere than the draft for the next QB. I wouldn't gripe at a front 7 defender.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Does this include McShay’s new mock? Curious who he has Denver taking…

Guys I want wearing Denver uniforms (9 or trade back) include:
    Johnson of Florida State
    T. Walker of Georgia
    Gardner of Cincinnati
    Lloyd of Utah
    Cross of Mississippi State
    Ekwonu of NC State

Those are my guys. There are others I'd be fine with. But these are my preferences.

And I couldn't be mad at QB at 9.

He’s 275, you like him on the Edge or DE?

    He's most likely down.

That said, I see him as a Malik Jackson type. Jackson did it all in college but as he gained weight he eventually moved inside. He can start outside and see how he handles it. Scheme will obviously matter.

I'm in lockstep with you, and at QB I would be fine with Willis, Corral or Pickett whoever they like best at 9. I am a massive fan of Ekwonu. Walker is also underrated Atm, workouts will probably change that. Gardner and Lloyd would be great options for this team as well. Lots of chatter about us showing interest in Jordan Davis as well. Ojabo could be a good option as well.

    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

    FA

    9. Denver Broncos: George Karlaftis, Edge Rusher, Purdue

If the Packers end up with this pick, they will select Karlaftis, some other edge rusher, or Sauce Gardner and rebrand themselves as a pesky young defense-oriented team.

If the Seahawks possess this pick, they will try to position themselves for a Malik Willis-centric rebuild.

If the Texans end up with it, they will fold it into a little origami sailboat and set it free in the Gulf of Mexico.

And if the 49ers or Colts end up with it, Broncos fans should just set their season ticket letters on fire.

But if the Broncos retain the pick and neither Willis nor Kenny Pickett is on the board, they should grab an edge rusher to supplement oft-injured Bradley Chubb and upgrade a pass rush that fell to 18th in adjusted sack rate last season.

Just who the best edge rusher available will be should sort itself out after the combine. For now, Walkthrough likes Karlaftis’ combination of size, athleticism, hand-fighting technique and upside.

If Denver is going to sit pat with Drew they might as well trade Chubb for more picks and grab a couple of edge rushers in this draft. I just dont think in the long run that Chubb will be reliable enough health wise so just rebuild the D line.
