rest - https://www.denverbroncos.com/news/b...ng-backs-coachENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have hired their final position coach on the offensive side of the football.
Denver has named Tyrone Wheatley as running backs coach, the team announced Wednesday.
Wheatley has spent the last three seasons as the head coach at Morgan State, an HBCU program in Maryland. Prior to his role as a head coach, Wheatley had NFL stops with the Jaguars and Bills. Wheatley served as the running backs coach in Jacksonville from 2017-18, which aligned with part of Head Coach Nathaniel Hackett's tenure as the Jaguars' offensive coordinator.
Wheatley also worked as the Bills' running backs coach during Hackett's two-year stint as Buffalo's offensive coordinator from 2013-14, and the two also overlapped from 2010-12 at Syracuse University.

The Broncos named Ejiro Evero as defensive coordinator and Dwayne Stukes as special teams coordinator, the team announced Thursday. Denver also hired Marcus Dixon as the team's defensive line coach.
Evero heads to Denver from the Los Angeles Rams, where he helped guide the back end of one of the league's best defenses. After four seasons as the team's safeties coach, he was named the secondary/pass game coordinator ahead of the 2021 season. The Rams allowed the second fewest passing touchdowns while recording the third most interceptions en route to a Super Bowl LVI title. In 2020, the Rams posted the league's best defense and held offenses to 16.8 points per game and 190.7 passing yards per game.

Loving the makeup and diversity of this coaching staff. Tired of the retread coaches making players fit a system instead of adjusting the system to what the players do best.
All these 1st time coordinators have enough experience where the adjustment shouldn't be as difficult and drastic. They also won't be on the the hot list for new HC anytime soon and should better relate to the younger players.
Now all they have to do is either roll with Lock, draft their QBOTF or acquire Watson.

Time for change at Strength and Conditioning too, imo.

- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
