Exactly. Also Drew looked fine his rookie year he looked exactly how he should. Its the BS that came later that ruined him......

I have seen far worse QB drafts that produced guys. I mean shit I will take a top 15 Qb in the NFL as a rookie at this point. We don't even need a Herbert year 1

Well, apparently he didn’t do anything to assuage the “small hands” crowd.

Oh yeah, I know we’re riding a high about the payoff results, but it’s senior bowl week.

People said Burrow had small hands back before he was drafted too. That seems to have worked out okay.

I dunno. I mean I understand small hands in a QB are a physical limitation. I do remember watching Daunte Culpepper (who supposedly had small hands) fumble every time someone breathed on him, so there’s that, but with modern gloves and stuff (Pickett is another “2 gloves” I think) those things can be mitigated somewhat. As far as he’s concerned, I’m just more interested in his ability to read, process, and throw an accurate/catchable ball.

There’s no Mahomes or Watson or Allen in this class supposedly, so it’s all just academic at this point. Obviously, Joe Burrow doesn’t have a cannon and doesn’t run 4.5 and he’s doing okay so there’s that. I’m not enough of a college guru or draftnik to have a “guy” yet. I hear Strong has the best arm talent but has knee issues. I am interested to see, based on draft position, new coach, Rodgers or another potential trade, etc where this class ranks out. We might be in position at 9 to draft the best of the bunch just because it isn’t that strong. Odds are at least one of them will have a successful career in the NFL.

If you ever have some time to kill, that article is pretty solid.

Looks like Ridder’s got him some big ol’ 10” mitts… maybe he’s the guy we need with the big hands!
