Not bad for a crappy GM……. Paton ability to see into the future of where things are headed is very good. It’s amazing he was able to get them deals done last season before these guys started getting this ridiculous money. Good for them but only a few wideouts are great enough to warrant the type of money these guys are getting.

Makes me very very worried. I have no doubt we draft and sign 2 rbs. Zero at all. Boone is NOT sproles. He is not a spell guy. He is a throw in and get a big gain guy. We will draft a pass catching and plowing rb. Im horny for coom, but there are a lot of good rbs mid range. I like Crockett too, but we will get a guy.
The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

1. With what money
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
Paton seems to be on the right track to being a solid GM. With this being his first "real" GM position, its got to be, a wait and see.
The teams he formerly worked with were all pretty middle of the pack, but one really cant judge him for those roles. We will know soon enough, with the big purchase in Wilson, will he be able to follow that up with enough to go the next step?
