    Default Educate me on the New HC options. Who do we want and why?

    Or who do we NOT want and why? I do not know anything about any of these potential coaches.



    Dan Quinn is being thrown around as a favorite. Some say no. But he is the name I keep hearing. I also saw someone mention his name with Russel Wilson. Why is there a link there?
    The Plan at the moment:

    Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
    Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
    Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
    Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

    Still a really talented offensive head coach. Not young, but also not ancient, so you don't have to worry about having a boomer as the HC. Has prior experience, etc.

    I don't recall how good he is with time management and challenges.

    I do know Byron Leftwich. I am not familiar with him as a HC, but I remember him as a QB and I like him as OC. He likely could be a great help to a draft project like Malik Willis

    He doesn’t have HC experience, matter of fact, he doesn’t have a lot of OC experience either. But he’s going to be a HC sooner or later.

    I put this in another thread, so I’ll put it here also:

    Doug Pederson is my first pick. I don’t care about his last game as an Eagle; he said he was going to play his backup QB’s in the meaningless game, and that’s what he did. Broncos fans are just mad because it cost us a draft spot or two.

    Bottom line, he won a SB with a slug named Foles. His team went to the playoffs 3 of 5 years. Is known for developing young QB’s, and wasn’t his fault Wentz was perpetually injured.

    I would much rather go after him than get some young offensive whiz that is green behind the gills, and we have to fire in a year or two because he’s in over his head as HC.

    My guy is Hackett (Packers OC). Pederson is probably my #2. Curious about O’Connell (Rams OC) and Moore (Cowboys OC).
