    Default Now what?

OK. We got the QB. We also lost a starting DT, our top 2 picks and some cap space.

Now what? We still need RT, Edge, ILB and probably another CB to go along with DT now.

We pick 64th. We have solid picks to get some depth, but we need talent. Who do we sign? What position do we wait to draft? Any other trades?

You should sign a tackle/guard, maybe both. Armstead (I saw you discussing him) makes sense. Robinson at RT is an option, but he's a pouty ho and thinks he's an elite LT.

People need to quit saying we lost our top pick when that pick was going towards a QB most likely anyway. We did get a 9-time pro bowl franchise QB after all. So, we lost one of our 2nds this year and a replaceable DT. Also a backup QB and TE. We have loads of cap space still and 7 draft picks. In Paton I trust but hopefully help along both lines and LB.

That pick was not going to be a QB. Paton was never going to just draft one of these guys he knows aren’t even on Drew lock level when there was going to be elite edge and elite tackle on the board……

The broncos don’t have the draft picks to fill these needs with premium talent anymore unfortunately but I’m sure Paton will figure it out, he’s been doing well with everything he does so we’ll see

Go big, some combination of Armstead at RT, Von/Chandler Jones at Edge, JC Jackson at CB.

Buy low on OJ Howard to replace Fant, David Irving to replace Harris.

    Resign Kenny Young.

Draft Brandon Smith/Perrion Winfree/Bamadele Oleseni types in the 2nd and 3rd.

Load up on OL depth later in the draft, draft Araiza if need be to replace the current punter.

Wait til they move Robinson to RT, Jawaan Taylor to G and draft Neal/Icky … Trevor Lawrence will be better protected.
