Albright is often wrong, and has some bad takes. With that being said, I would expect Cousins to get a decent amount; he's a good quarterback.

Because of his contract you'd like to think you could get him for a 2 instead of a 1, but it won't surprise me if they get a 1 for him.

A 1st round pick for Kirk Cousins? A 2nd round pick is Way too much, you can wait a year and not have to give up any picks.

This reminds me of the time everyone (Cecil Lamme) wanted to trade a 1st round pick for Tyrod Taylor.

This shit hurts my head.

I would be very pissed if we traded the 9th overall pick for Cousins. That would be extremely stupid.

What North is saying is that when you have enough QBR data and the data breaks down into tiers, a guy who falls into a specific tier more often than not is what he is. Whether that's him being elite--Brady is always QBR gold--or above average, etc.

4th round pick is plenty, he’s got one gigantic year left on his contract before he sells himself to the highest bidder again … and he thinks highly of his services.

The franchise tag is too much money to pay this guy, so what are you trading for if you have to overpay to keep the guy?

I sincerely hope Paton thinks this through, he’s just not worth a premium pick … he needs a ton of talent around him and he’s not remotely cost-effective.

The Broncos have two 5ths, give them the 2nd 5th round pick or walk the **** away.

You’re going to end up picking in the 20’s with Cousins, that may sound good to you but it’s thoroughly counterproductive. Then you’ll be “We’re not going to get a 1st round QB so we might as well run it back with Cousins”.

If the Broncos spend a premium pick on any QB not named Rodgers/Wilson/Watson it better damn well be a rookie.
