I get some of that, but he didn't exactly have studs in Washington and he still put up numbers.

PFF doesn’t determine SB winners, just so ya know.

Plus, Covid isn’t going anywhere and Cousins puts himself above the team.

This is your best argument on the subject.

Are you talking about Fields? When he washes out of the league, will you still feel that way?

he's vastly more competent and productive than what we've been dealing with, and i think we'd absolutely be a playoff team with him-- but i don't think he's a guy you can win a championship with unless everything bounces just perfectly. . . signing him as a free agent would be one thing. . . if we're trading high draft picks AND paying a massive salary, it's rogers / wilson / watson or bust, as far as i'm concerned. . . i would rather draft a QB than give up valuable assets for cousins. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Fields is a better player/talent than many say here. Yeesh, I hated Z. Wilson and even I think a guy like him deserves another season minimum.

We all have our thoughts on who we prefer to draft at QB each year. I'd have been fine with Fields because the position is important and who am I to say he isn't the right guy for us. He just wasn't my preference. Some folks did prefer him. Given the low grades of this crop, the smart move would have been to toss shit against a wall and hope it sticks, regardless of the name.

He'll be a stud. Already looking more comfortable and stable. Keep him safe and get him at least 1 weapon and he'll make them viable.

    This is a good post.

I liked Lance the most out of last draft class. After watching Allen, Wentz (and his resurgence, what a guy!) I am now more inclined to believe in uber athletic gods in modern football at QB.

I feel bad because my caps lock is on, but I just presume the board believes I'm yelling at them all the time, anyway.

He has not always been horrible, and people are quick to overemphasis bad moments on bb qbs

Am I insane for still not being 100% in on Allen yet?
