Pretty sure that was a bit of retaliation for Detroit calling time outs with 4 min left. Fangio hasn’t ever ran up the score when given the chance.
On that note, was really stupid for Detroit to go for that 4th down on their own 33 down two scores in the 3rd. That is just bad coaching.
