Albright tweeted it. I still hope it's false. If true, too ******* young. I always loved him. He, more than any Bronco player I can remember seemed like a player we got to see grow up. He was such an innocent young kid when he came here and we got to see him mature and become a stand up Man.

I just emailed Demaryius Thomas position coach while he was at West Laurens High School - Jeff Clayton.

He tells me that the rumors are true. The former Georgia Tech and Broncos receiver has passed away at the age of 33.

Looks like it is true. So sad - RIP DT

DENVER — Demaryius Thomas, one of the most talented receivers in Denver Broncos franchise history, has died at age 33, a family member told 9NEWS.

The circumstances of his death are unknown.

Thomas, a first-round pick in the 2010 NFL draft, played for the Broncos until he was traded to Houston halfway through the 2018 season. He announced his retirement from the NFL--as a Denver Bronco--in June.

Tributes are pouring in from Thomas' Broncos teammates Thursday night.
