rest - https://www.tmz.com/2021/12/09/ex-nf...enver-broncos/Demaryius Thomas, Super Bowl champion and five-time Pro Bowler, has died at the age of 33, police tell TMZ Sports.
The cause of death is currently unclear ... but police tell us they found Thomas deceased in his Roswell, GA home Thursday night.
Cops tell us preliminary reports suggest the death stemmed from a medical issue. They also tell us there are currently no indications that foul play was involved.
Thomas -- the 22nd overall pick out of Georgia Tech in the 2010 NFL Draft -- evolved into one of the best wide receivers in the league.

I am hearing car accident as well. Remember when he caught the walk off touchdown against the Steelers in the playoffs? So many fond memories of DT.

Shocking. One news report says he was found dead in his home in Georgia but that the cause may be complications from a traffic collision. Thomas was a running back in the wishbone offense at Georgia Tech but some scouts thought with his size and speed that he was better suited as a wide receiver than a running back at the next level. Still, that backfield experience helped him to use his body to break tackles and outmaneuver defensive backs which was a key to his success.
Makes me think of Darrent Williams who died on New Year's Eve after a Broncos game.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
ESPN article says some are reporting he'd been having seizures. This is terrible. He had such an infectious smile. This one hurts.
RIP DT, I am so unbelievably sad to hear this news this morning.
I am just heartbroken about this news. DT was so easy to like. Unlike many at his position, he was quiet and humble; the opposite of a diva. Godspeed on your next journey, DT, and go knowing that you were loved by many here in this life. RIP
Shocked, stunned, and saddened. RIP Bey Bey.

What a great pic of two of the classiest guys that ever played on the Broncos. You may remember they both went to South Africa together right after SB50. I read this article about the trip, back when it happened, but had forgotten much of it. Great story, and worth another read.

He came so far from such a bad place in life. A true star.
