Default I'm off my feet for 6 weeks

Just bought an Xbox series S because I had knee surgery last Friday and can not put any weight on my rt knee for 6 weeks. I figure video games might be a fun way to pass the time. I already have Forza 5, Flight Simulator and Riders Republic. What are some other recommendations? What was the last year Madden was worth a shit? I heard the newest one is terrible.

Trust me, it's not all it's cracked up to be. I had a meniscus root repair, which means that just putting the weight of my own leg on my foot could tear the stitches and ruin the repair. Everything is a bitch. Just getting from my room, which is my son's room because I had to move to a room on the main level, to the living room is a chore. My crutches slipped on e and I thought I was ******, luckily I saved it.

I am not minding that part at all. . Just wish I had 6 weeks off where I was out exploring, shooting and taking pictures or something. Next best thing is doing all those things virtually.

You would enjoy Red Dead Redemption.

Yeah, I think that would be at the very top for me as well. Curious about the Halo game, no idea if it's good. I'd also look into the Rainbow Six game.

My advice is to pick one and ignore the rest. Having too many choices takes away from sticking with one and getting past the parts that make you think 'there's something better out there'. You have a great list. Surprised you didn't get the MLB one.

Apex legends, Halo infinite are Op right now. Stay away from Battlefield and COD. Lame ass games.....

I'm enjoying Halo quite a bit, multiplayer is quite nostalgic and the campaign is pretty fun so far.

Newer games are ok, but my favorites are a bit older. I still play Red Dead Redemption 2, Jedi: Fallen Order, and the Dark Souls series quite a bit. The new Doom games are awesome. Just depends on the genre you like best. I like single player action/adventure. Looking forward to Halo Infinite when I can get my hands on it.

New DOOM on PC was solid. Nailed the aesthetic, and compelling enough.

I guess I need to go back to RD2. I started it, and listened to the advice of many others to take my time, and do more things like hunting etc. before getting too deep into the game. Then I got kind of bored with it and haven't played it anymore.
