I would assume the new owner would get input from the fans (season ticket holders)who regularly sit in the stadium what their preference would be. A dome would be dumb in Denver, but like Joe said, a retractable roof.
My preference would be to have an open stadium. Playing in the elements adds a little more excitement to the game as Rosebus stated.
I don’t think that’s necessarily true. I’d be willing to bet most players would rather play in relatively constant, nice weather conditions than in shitty rainy, snowy, cold conditions. I’d bet the paying fans would rather, too. That old stereotype of all weather football is quickly going the way of the dodo. Playing in bad weather isn’t good for a players’ health and it’s not good for fans’ health, either. I’d bet if you ran a poll, most people would pick nice weather or the ability to close the roof and play in a dome over playing in rain, snow, and ice.

I get fans are entitled & pampered nowadays.
oh HELL no!! football was meant to be played in the elements. . . let the wine and cheese pansies stay home if they're too rich and spoiled to get their little tootsies cold at the game. . . i love the way weather is a factor in football-- just another aspect that adds nuance and layers of strategy that the other sports lack. . .
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Football was meant to be played in the elements when....no helmets were used and the forward pass wasn't a thing.

Because I want the richest single owner possible. Also he has legit Colorado ties. His son lives in Colorado. He loves this state and I like that. 90% of my reasons though come down to the fact that he'd be the richest owner in the NFL by a factor of roughly 4, yeah that excites me.
Let's Rid3!!!!
why? do you assume that will translate to him putting more money into the team? is there any factual basis for that train of thought? i don't have a dog in the fight-- one billionaire is as good (or bad) as the next to me. . . but david tepper is by far the richest of the current owners, and he's been total shit. . . aside from laughably overpaying for a super shitty college HC when no one was bidding against him, his money hasn't done a damn thing to make them successful. . . he's also currently embroiled in a fight with a local municipality because he's trying to get them to pay for his practice facility. . . maybe it's just me, but i think the days of owners who genuinely care about the team, the community, and the product on the field are long gone. . . other than maybe the rooneys. . . i think people are entirely mistaken if they think walton is more likely to pay for his own stadium just because he could afford to. . . these guys didn't get stupid rich by spending money they don't have to. . .
as i said, it really doesn't matter to me one way or the other, as long as magic johnson isn't involved in any sort of decision-making. . . i'm just curious why people prefer one guy over another, or think the richest owner somehow equals the best. . .
