Nah, that’s overly simplistic. Is scoring the “most important” stat? Probably. But it’s far from the “only stat that matters”. Scoring can be skewed by many things: turnovers, special teams, garbage time scoring, etc. The Broncos have the 3rd best defense based on points allowed per game, but do you think they’re the 3rd best defense in the league?

I feel we could win this game. We could just eek out a win and that will be impressive, but if we go over there and steamroll their asses like we did to the Cowboys and the Chargers, we will have serve notice that we’re a team to be reckoned with going forward.
