    Broncos backup QB Drew Lock will be inactive vs. Cowboys due to COVID-19 protocols

    Denver Broncos backup quarterback Drew Lock has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys due to COVID-19 protocols, the team announced Sunday morning.

    With Lock unavailable, Brett Rypien will serve as the team’s backup behind starter Teddy Bridgewater in Dallas.

    The Von-less era begins today and I’m going to be watching how the defense plays. I want to see if they will play with a new found spark and intensity or just coast down on this game.

    Given enough practice with starters, i always feel Rypien is a better QB than TB and Lock.

    Not he’s not. He’s serviceable for sue, but not a guy you can say has a lot of potential, at least not from what I’ve seen of him playing...
