Thread: Broncos Trading Von Miller to Rams

Hawg: he loves picks.

Jaded: he loves picks, but just not like this!

Strafen: he admires rosters that are well built.

North: a message board historian!

I guess nobody stays with a team until retirement. This is better than losing him in Free Agency and getting a compensatory 3rd round pick I guess.

Problem is that this front office will blow the picks and get another Fant or Lock, oh wait those were even higher picks than what we got.

This front office didn't draft Fant or Lock. Surtain, who they did draft, looks like a stud.

Do we have the same scouts? I mean yea Elway made the final call, but someone talked up Fant and Lock. Surtain has been fine, he will probably be a solid corner for years to come. End of 2nd and end of 3rd rounder for the best defender the Broncos have had in decades if not the best ever. Yea I get end of contract and all that, just seems like we got robbed.

So now Fant is a bust?

I still really like Fant. Hopefully we get an OC next year who knows how to utilize him.

We were going to lose him for nothing but a comp 3rd round pick 2 months from now. I don't see how you can call this a robbery compared to getting nothing for him.

I think talent wise he's right there with Kelce and Kittle. Would love to unlock that production.

As a complete TE, yes. He can still be a secondary pass catching TE. Those can be valuable. Funny how they keep throwing him 5 yard outs expecting him to run over a CB and he gets tackled every ******* time.

I get it. He hurts emotionally to lose. He'll go down as a top 5 bronco ever. But I'm happy for him at least to get another great shot at a ring.

Von has fallen off since SB50 he isn't in his prime anymore nowadays he is injury prone much older and can't stay healthy for a whole season. I'm really happy with this trade both teams got what they wanted. Von probably only has a few years left I just hope he reties as a Denver Bronco when he calls it a career.
