Malik Willis is probably the best prospect in the entire class after doing my homework on him so far.
I think he has the highest star and ceiling potential of the top 4 ATM, but he is raw and he needs a staff willing to spend time with him. I would be fine if we drafted him though personally. I don't see him falling out of the top 10, and when its all said and done he may leapfrog Corral. I actually don't have a problem with any of the top 4 at the moment. They are not elite at the moment but all 4 have some great tools to bring to the pros. The right staff could do wonders for all 4 of them within 2 years. Big questions if that's in Denver though. The coach we pick at seasons end will be the key for sure.

    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

Von is still elite and in great shape just poorly utilized. Denver needs to ink him and call it a day at season end. Sterns at S to replace Kjax and Cooper at Edge to replace Reed are also the real deal I think. We need a extra vet pass rusher like we had in attachou last year(maybe weatherly can be that) and rookie next draft for sure. The reed experiment needs to end. We could always use some upgrades inside at LB but maybe Young is the help we need. Him and AJ are a good combination on paper. I would bring AJ back for sure he is the better thumper and LB of him and jewel by far. Really wish he could f'in catch though I also would re-sign Callahan for the slot, and then PS 2 will be fine maybe add a rookie there as well. Darby will come back because of his stupid contract most likely as CB 2.

Should’ve kept Hollins instead of Reed, that was painfully obvious at the time. He’s a blitzed, not a true pass rusher, and he’s undersized and T-Rex armed. Hollins was a fresh lump of clay that was starting to figure it out before getting hurt.

And I wanna see Kary Vincent take over the slot.

Personally QB and OT and edge are massive needs like Jaded said. We need all 3 positions before mid rd 2 passes lol.
3 of the 4 most important positions in the NFL, all 3 should’ve been addressed long before G, RB and S.

Our fast start against 3 doormat teams has distorted your projections. Is there away that you can adjust the setting so you’re drafting for us in a spot that we’re more likely to have after this debacle of a season is over, such in the close to the top 5?

Yeah except all 4 likely will not have success it’ll probably be more like 1-2 of them will actually become a franchise quarterback. And right now it looks to me like Willis has that franchise quarterback ability and if he can process what’s going on out there mentally he will be great.

Definitely gotta get him coached up though.

Oh I agree I have long been a proponent of development and the right staff. Its a guarantee at least 1 if not 2 of these guys will be reached for or setup for failure and probably not work out. The tools however are there to be molded. Its not a square peg in round hole deal unless the staff sucks and makes it that way.

No doubt, corral arm talent is impressive as well.

I dont hate it but i doubt Corrall will fall that low but then again different boards have Pickett going in later rounds and then going in the first round so it can depend. Position wise it makes sense although i would probably avoid draft RB and WR this year in favor of working the DL, LB, and OL after QB. We probably could pick up some decent RB's and WR's in FA next year. We have a pretty good stable of both just need them to stay healthy.

I ran another mock this time with a trade in the 3rd. Was a bit risky as i had 2 players in mind but i was able to get them both so it turned out well.

There's the Lions and a bumper crop of 1-5 teams in line ahead of you. Technically, we're 2-3 wins behind in the tank standings. The good news is that there aren't many great players in this draft anyway so the teams that actually scout well will be better off.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
