How to save the season; put in Kendall Hinton at QB.

- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
There is no SAVING this season! Ten games left and if the same coaches are there for more than 3 there will be no time to save anything.
Maybe some players will stay if there is a new owner and a new staff next year, but no one is giving Denver a home team discount again.
Lock may come in and play well or maybe not....it won't matter because the Defense that Fangio designed is swiss cheese and the injuries
are not going away there.
The only good thing to happen this year is that KC is trying to stay tied for 4th place in the AFC west, but will eventually take 3rd.
10-6, 2-14. 8-8 and Now 11-6
I'm In it for the LONG Haul!
This is the truth.
1. No owner means no long/short term increases in cash flow. No long term stability.
2. GM doesn't really have the authority to make splash moves like trading multiple firsts for Watson/Rogers or whoever without ownership approval.
3. Not enough money or stability to go get a top coach this offseason and still pay the fired coaching staff. Which probably means in house cheap option like Munch or Fangio stays with Shurmer fired.
4. No QB means we can't attract any real talent in the offseason.
The Broncos are going to suck for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if Fangio stays because I don't see how Denver can afford to pay out for a new set of coaches and pay out the minimum in cap expenditure as we'll have the 2nd/3rd most cap space next year.
Not unless we hit the draft jackpot and land a Herbert/Allen type.
At least we're not like the Cleveland clowns who are trying really hard to pretend Baker is a franchise QB.
We know our QBs suck!
