The coaching staff should use these 10 days to prepare Lock to take over, I really doubt that has even crossed their minds. Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is insane!

We're stuck on proving that LB's might actually be needed to field a defense.... maybe?

Absolutely, if Lock isn’t starting the next game I’m convinced Fangio is just purposely sabotaging the Broncos. He doesn’t want Lock to come in and start winning games because it would make him and shurmer look even more foolish on there way to being fired.

Well the argument would be appearances... You want the prospects to think they'll be given patience and time. Something no-point midseason firings doesn't really sell. It would feel good to see as a fan, but I get why most franchises don't go there.. barring misconduct or other exceptional circumstances.
