Forcing Teddy to play when he’s not 100% makes no sense but I guess the coaching staff is feeling the heat on their asses as the seat gets hotter. Apparently, Fangio straight lied when he said the competition was close and he’d be happy with and felt we could win with either QB. This kinda reeks of a desperation move, even at the expense of Teddy’s health. If he can’t move around well in the pocket because of his foot, he can’t protect himself. This could get ugly.

I actually couldn't disagree with this more. I feel like the "desperate to save his job" move would be to play Lock. He's who the fans want to see, probably who Elway wants to see since that's his guy. That feels like the move to make to hopefully spark the team and save his job. The fact that he's still playing a hobbled Teddy just further shows how bad they must think Lock is.

It just becomes more and more confusing why they didn't trade Lock months ago if they thought he was this bad.

I swear if we lose this game because they didn’t go with Lock instead of a naturally limited and now hobbled teddy they should all be fired Friday morning and locks the starter

I picked the Broncos in my pool tonight. If they lose I might not be able to hang out with you guys anymore.

Man, I know klis is trying to spin this but he still looks pretty hobbled to me. Gotta admire Teddy's toughness gutting this out for the team, but it wouldn't shock me to see Lock come in at some point.
