Ridder I don't really know. I added him in because the talk around him seems to be pretty positive and I'll do my own research on him later to see if I'm really on board.

Howell- he throws a great deep ball. Good scrambler and seems to manuever around the pocket well. I like him. He shows some flashes, especially while on the move. I want to see more in the intermediate 10-20 yard throws. He's not the tallest guy.

Pickett- is a solid guy with excellent toughness and good leadership skills. He's been in the spotlight for a long time at Pitt so he will come in with above average poise and maturity IMO. He moves well and is a capable enough thrower from what I've seen. Until this season he's never been thought of as a top tier guy.

    Wooooooo!
Rumor has it it was Riley who wanted to start the freshman this year over Rattler from day 1 Initially this year, but wanted to give Rattler a shot as the incumbent. He is lucky it didn't backfire nd cost them a game and that he had the gumption to realize who has more talent and remedy the decision. The Freshman is going to make some noise these next couple years and be a high draft pick IMO...

I think rattler can be a good pro, and this may be the humbling he needed to actually work on his game, but my gut tells me he isn't going to figure it out and wont take the benching in a good constructive way, which sucks for him because he does have talent.
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

Riley as HC, and Ridder could be a great combo.

We can’t continue to try to shape our defense around Von Miller, especially if he’s going to disappear periodically like he has the last 3 weeks or just be misused in the scheme. Honestly, with this year looking like another flop with the potential of a new coaching staff, I don’t see Paton trying to extend Von.

I would like a DC that doesn't put Von/AJ/other LBs in man coverage on fast WRs.

What a peoples thoughts on that kid Chase Brice from App St? Seeing the highlights of the game last night he seems to have a pretty good arm. Didnt even realize he had transferred from Clemson and Duke.

Lmao agreee that was the dumbest post I’ve seen in awhile, as if Shurmer wouldn’t still call the plays as the interim HC three noway in hell Fangio should get fired without shurmer going with him! They are tied together with each other. Both are equally responsible for the failure of the broncos
