If by “what Paton is looking for” you mean a one year bridge QB for a lame duck coaching staff, then yes I agree.

Yes, that … but also Bridgewater fits what Paton wants to build around. This is the second time he’s wasted draft picks on TB, it’s a pattern.

    It matches what vikings think.
Trying to win games with below average QB.

Worst part about this is next year’s QB class is full of question marks. If our FO wasn’t confident in Mac or Fields, then who the hell will they like in 2022?!

I hate next years class. It's why I am still pissed we passed on Fields especially. He's a legit prospect that would have benefitted greatly behind a guy like Bridgewater. Or the ready made guy in Mac Jones. But to pass on both? I have zero confidence in Paton after that decision. Especially since it was clear they had lost all confidence in Lock.

While next year's class isnt as sexy as this past year im not convinced it doesnt have some bonafide ballers in it. Kenny Pickett's stock is rising and he has come a long way from 2 years ago when i saw him with buzz back then. Dont know much about Ridder but ill be watching to see how the Bearcats finish the year out and i still like Brock Purdy from Iowa St but i dont want to settle for a late round QB UNLESS we also take a guy like Pickett in the first round. Dont know much about Corrall but he seems to be the top prospect at the moment.

You need a QB to win games... Not sure how these guys are paid millions and don't know the basics

I read Pickett should have the smallest hands ever recorded at the combine, say what you want but 8” hands should be taken seriously, especially in cold weather locations.

    Did anything happened today?
That should tell how the FO thinks.

    They don't seem to care..

Rattler, Willis are my two guys right now. Corral has a pretty good arm on him as well. Those 3 guys look to have serious potential though.

Yeah right Willis looks far better of a prospect than fields and so does corral and rattler. Im not sure why your stuck on fields as if he’s showing anything to make anybody regret anything. Not to mention his health issue probably wouldn’t work in Denver.

But either way some of you are just pouting at this point.

Don’t sleep on Malik Willis and corrall. Malik Willis is super intriguing with that game breaking speed and his arm talent is pretty damn good.
