Far left is Rick Upchurch WR, superb ST’s, and has many Broncos records as a punt returner. To left of Elway from R to L is Tom Jackson LB, Randy Gradishar LB, and I believe QB Craig Morton. Tommy Jackson also was Chris Berman’s long time partner in ESPN’s pre & post game shows on Sunday.

To right of Elway is Gary Zimmerman, the best LT the team has ever had and the anchor of the dominate OL of SB 32, and he is in the HOF.

Arm around Shanny is Billy Thompson, a superb DB from the 70’s. Tom Jackson, Gradishar, & Thompson were all part of the famed Orange Crush defense in the 70’s that carried the team to SB 12. Craig Morton was the QB, and Upchurch was WR, KR, & PR.

Randy Gradishar deserves/deserved to be in HOF for years now, but he didn’t play for an East Coast team, the Bears, or Cowboys, so he’s sits and waits.

Man these was some great time’s…….. what made the super owls so much more special to me was Elway man, him being a career bronco, our guy! I so desperately want to have OUR guy again man. We need a franchise quarterback and another great offensive mind like shanny was in his time.

As the Broncos' 2021 Alumni Weekend continues, the team welcomed new Ring of Famer and former head coach Mike Shanahan to practice to speak to the team. Also, the organization brought back former longtime head athletic trainer Steve "Greek" Antonopulos, who retired in 2021 after more than 40 years with the Broncos, for a ceremony naming the training room in his honor.

I’d take him back as our OC in a millisecond. I just wouldn’t let him control personnel. The mastermind knows how to make adjustments. Hell yeah, I do remember those first 15 scripted plays that turned into scoring drives.

Feel bad Shanny had to watch that, he hates the raiders......Hopefully Elway is in Paton's ear about removing this staff in short order if we lose another one.....
