The conventional wisdom is that this chaos would be bad for the Raiders and good for us as their upcoming opponent.

However, these things always seem to bite us in the ass. I'd rather this didn't happen this week for selfish reasons.

We're either going to kill them or get the most motivated team ever. No in between.

I gobbled the bait I guess. Hard not to discuss the story itself.

We as a society should absolutely evolve in terms of how we speak about certain things.

Forgiveness is a vital component to that evolution that seems to be missing, as seems to be the case here.

If this stuff happened like yesterday, I'd be like okay that's super bad, maybe it's fireable. But a lot has changed in the world in terms of how people talk about things and feel about things. 7 years is a long time. A little grace is needed.

    So, who's the interim coach?

Do they go with one of the Coordinators (Greg Olson OC, or Gus Bradley DC), or leave those guys in charge of their side of the ball and go with a guy like Tom Cable, who's had HC experience? Or Rod Marinelli who's been in the league since Knute Rockne.

I'm guessing one of the latter. You rarely see a coordinator take over as interim I feel like. Too disruptive to that side of the ball. Plus both of those non coordinators have head coaching experience, so I'd guess they go that direction.
