Thread: 2021 Survival Leagues

For those of you who have never played this, you pick a team that you are certain is going to win that week. If they do, you continue to the next week with your current strike count. If not, you get a strike. If you’re in the 1 strike league, your immediately eliminated from the competition for that the year. If you’re in the 3-strike league, your 1 step closer to elimination.

Yes, Canmore proudly displays the fact that he’s a 2-time champ (forgetting to include the fact that he’s also the defending champ due to us not doing the competition last year), but I’m a 6 time champ. However, the last time we did this, Canmore did something that I never came close to doing, making it all the way through the regular season and into the play-offs. The best I’ve ever done is make it to week 13.

So, we have 6 in the 3-strike league, but only 3 in the 1-strike. With us needing at least 4 participants for the results to count towards our lifetime stats, we still need just 1 more for the 1-strike.
