Great for Tim
Great for the team
Great for the fans

This was a steal for the Broncos.
He's getting paid at most $11M per year which puts him in line with WRs like Curtis Samuel, Nelson Agholor, Will Fuller. Great value signing now we just need a QB worth a damn that can get him the ball.

Ok.Knowing what we know now...should Tim Patrick have signed that contract?
It’s great the Broncos want to keep him around, but I think he could’ve gotten a whole lot more had he gone into free agency. He had some leverage to negotiate is what I’m saying

he probably could have gotten more. . . he also could've been stuck with a one-year, 3 million prove it deal if he goes out and tears up his knee before the end of the season. . . he exchanges some extra dollars in potential earnings for the security of having a signed contract now. . . 18 million in guarantees is still a LOT of cheddar-- smart move by tim to accept the deal. . . paton played this exactly right. . .

This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
Y’all make it sound like Patrick is ****img Jerry Rice reincarnated.

Nobody's saying that, you are. The point I’m trying to make is that he could’ve held out for more money given his production on the field. However, I don’t blame him for taking that deal right now. Tomorrow is not guaranteed, and this is a violent sport and injuries happen, so from that perspective, I will have to say, he did well accepting the deal now, though a little bit of negotiation may have yielded a couple more bucks...
