Will there be a market for Patrick? Probably, but he’s not seen as a #1 so who knows.

To be totally honest, and I know I’ll get hated on for this, I’d rather keep Patrick and trade Jeudy for a first round pick or Hamler for a second. Patrick catches everything you throw at him. Patrick scores TDs. Patrick is reliable on 3rd down. Patrick is a big red zone target (6’4”, 212#). Being a guy who doesn’t give a shit where a guy was drafted and only cares about production, I keep Patrick over everyone other than Sutton.
Harris hasn’t had the type of impact Patrick has when he plays though

Patrick is going to get paid. A lot more than the broncos will be able to afford after they pay Sutton and then have Jeudy and Hamler coming back next year. Probably ain’t going to be worth investing huge coin into Patrick

We are FLUSH with cap space right now. As of now, there’s no guarantee that we will even have a QB next year that we need to drop $30+ mil on. Rodgers isn’t a guarantee. Who’s to say we don’t offer Patrick a legit, fair, #2 or #3 WR contract, he doesn’t just take it to stay? Yeah, we have guys to sign this offseason but let’s say we extend Sutton and Teddy B to a reasonable mid-tier QB deal and draft a new young QB to groom. We can afford to sign a guy like Patrick. He’s not gonna break the bank. Like I said, Right now, Jeudy has more draft value than Patrick with less actual production or reliability. I’d trade Jeudy for a 1st and keep Patrick.

Patrick won’t cost that much. Remember, we were able to pay Peyton Manning, DT, ES, Von Miller, D Ware, etc, etc. we can pay to keep Tim Patrick if we want. At this point, I’m not even sure we sign Chubb to a huge deal beyond his 5th year extension.
I agree with you there. Patrick is a keeper, he’s played his way into where he’s at right now. Also remember, he stands to put up some good numbers this year that will most likely give him some negotiation leverage . We’ll see.

As far as Chubb is concerned, I wouldn’t resign him. The guy can’t stay healthy and he should’ve known those bone Spurs were there and needed to be surgically removed, but he decided to take his chances. Get rid of him...

Whatever we do, we can’t rush Jeudy back. The guy makes a living breaking other players’ ankles. His play style does not lend itself well to rushing back from an ankle injury. If he’s not 100%, he shouldn’t play. I can see this ankle injury lingering if the team isn’t smart about his recovery.

I hope the Broncos keep Patrick or he gets a massive payday. He gets results.

He also seems to be our only receiver who isn't made of glass, so that helps too.

Shelby thought his market was bigger because of local media hype but his market isn't dictated by passes defensed. He was a avg. run defender and he doesn't get to the QB that often, His market was right where it should be. I like Patrick now. If were contending he shouldn't be traded, but the conservation was valid this summer and before the season. As for your 2nd point I wont hate on you for it, and I also agree production matters over draft slot.

Ehhh Patrick didn't really have a market to move him. He was definitely more valuable to the Broncos for depth than as a trade piece. He's one of those overlooked players that all good teams need. Who knows, maybe they did entertain offers and didn't see the interest that made it worth it. All I know is, I am glad we have him because otherwise we would be in baaaad shape right now. Sucks for Hamler. I thought he was going to have a big year. Hopefully he has a full recovery. Only upside is it's early in the season so he should be ready for next year.

Who is saying that Timmy Pats is on the same level as Sutton?

    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Of course. If you tell me something in a British accent, I will believe it.

Come to think of it, that virgin had a British accent.
