Yeah, stats tell me that Rypien should be able to rip off no look, 30-yard passes with ease and that Bridgewater is a Top5 QB in the NFL.

Yeah, grain of salt, I get it. In fact you make me think you are dumb when you dis stats because stats are so obviously in need of context to have any meaning, and even then, they are suspect. But I know you also know this so I'm not actually concerned, it's more like I'm concerned about the public record of it all.

I looked at the list of SB winning QBs. Would be better to be all the QBs that had a certain NFL WAR type measure. But it's fine.

Brady apparently threw 61 mph on a radar gun not long ago. Twitter says so.

Peyton probably had one of the worst arms of all of them. And Brady. Montana too. I don't think Russell Wilson's raw arm is anything blistering. But all had legit ability. Some combo of footwork, acumen, athleticism, fast-twitch, anticipation...hard to really describe.

It would be easy if they were all Mahomes, that dude can deliver a football.

I think you know when you have a *real* talent, and we all know that Teddy will never be mistaken for Mahomes.

But if Teddy can give us mid-career Maddux, a guy who ate a fug ton of innings with a respectable ERA...great.

Perhaps it’s just gas, but I have an odd feeling the Jets are going to play a tough game.

It’s possible in the 1st half. They have a decent defense; it’s certainly not trash. In fact, their defense reminds me of the giants defense…respectable, and can give you problems if you let them.

But the offense, oh my. The rookie OC is letting his rookie prize QB let it rip, and that’s the problem. I don’t expect them to fix all their problems on offense in 1 week, so I fully expect our defense to make adjustments and get more TO’s. If our offense can just get a 10 pt lead at some point, the jets offense will panic, and that’s when we will have them.

    That’s the theory, anyway.

its game 3. Melvin Gordon has something to say about that!
I bet he looses Two fumbles this game.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

That's true. TOs are not about Teddy. They're about Melvin.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

He will also probably add Two Tds as well, but those wont count because we won the game by so many points. I have been told this many times by the knowledgably RB faithful here.

It’s always been my position that every TO negates the benefits of a TD. Of course an excessively ridged application of this principle would assume that all TOs have an equal impact on a game no matter where they occur on the field and at what point in the game. I wouldn’t take my position to that extent.

No hops Davis. To get the reference, watch this video. May be the most brilliant analysis of the season.

I recommend a Whisky or two to get rid of that feeling.

It definitely has all the ingredients for a trap game being that there 0-2 and we’re 2-0 and there this horrible team with a rookie quarterback that’s slinging interceptions all over the place.

However the broncos need to go out and win this game 35-7 and make a statement, we don’t need to barely sneak outta there with a 7-10 point victory we need to absolutely crush the jets as we go intro the tough part of our schedule.

No. We just need to win. Everybody wants some massive blowout, hell I do too, but this isn't college. That's an NFL team, albeit a bad one with a rookie QB. They still have plenty of talent, they still get paid a lot $$$ and they hear all this they absolutely suck chatter. They will come out motivated. The Broncos superior talent and home field should be more than enough, but like Nomad hinted at, I don't think this is a cakewalk, at least not the 1st half. That said I'd love to get up early and then step on their throats, I just don't expect it.

Obviously if the Kaiser family was only worth 260K at the time of his death, he can’t match an offer for the team if sold. Sure, ask the wife if she can pony up the $4 billion for the team… no? Then why is this in court?
