Hopefully it’s not too long though but on the bright side Surtaingets to step right into his natural position and role!
    Surtains natural position is MLB

I read somewhere Jeudy played the slot 80+% of the time in the Giants game. Hinton is the better slot receiver than the other two.

Darby is a good #2 CB.
    He will be back later.

Surtain should shine facing #2 WRs.

If only Paton could’ve known that Darby would miss some (most) games before he signed him.

    Sign Garbage Minshew.

    Draft
    1st round— Cooper Dejean CB
    2nd round— Jack Sawyer OLB
    3rd round— Will Shipley RB
    4th round— Ricky Pearsall WR
    5th round— Ladd McKonkey WR
    6th round— Cash Jones RB
    7th round— Carson Steele RB

Yeah just like Callahan another guy whose clearly mega talented but always injured. Thank goodness we have loads of depth at the corner back position.

Also our turnovers should sky rocket with surtain on the outside playing corner. I’d imagine he’s going to be the guy that Trevor attacks since he’s a rookie so Surtain will have endless chances at pass break ups and interceptions. Can’t wait!!!!!

Yeah veteran WRs usual feast on rookie CBs if left to cover 1 on 1, even extremely talented ones. We will have to help him out a bit more than we did last week. He will surely lock his side down after some seasoning.

I think he will lock it down this weekend.
The only time he got burned against the Giant's wasn't him getting burned. He was supposed to pass that guy off to KJack but K Jack was out of position and Surtain saw that and made a full bore run from the defense's left side all the way to the right side followed by a head first dive to try and stay with the guy after he noticed KJack was out of position. People that don't look at the tape and just remember him chasing a guy and missing when he dove are not seeing the whole picture. Surtain is a damn good football player with a coach level understanding of the field.

There won’t be anybody feasting on Surtain aslong as he’s playing CB and not lining up in the MLB slot
