Default Jeff Bezos buying the Broncos?

Has anyone else heard this rumor flying around yesterday?
Why wouldn’t he but the Broncos when the price tag (>$2.5B) for the sale of the team it’s only 2% of his net worth.
That there is much mind boggling.
So long as he doesn’t move the team I’ll be ok with it.
Let me hear what you guys think of this possibility...

I'm curious how he will integrate Amazon Prime into Broncos ownership.

Thanks for sharing. It’s unclear what the tag price is, $4B is the highest I’ve heard so far...

Albright shot this down yesterday on twitter. Jayz is trying to buy in on a team but sounds like its not here
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Did he shoot down just the Jay-Z part or the Bezos part as well?

He’s got money, but not the money to buy an NFL franchise.

According to the article that you share he could go in with other investors is what I think they’re saying.

Nothing is solid, only rumors. Jay-Z came up in a ownership group rumor last year, Peyton's name has dropped as well as Elon musk in the rumor mill. Cost will be north of 4 billion to the winning party not a lot of options out there. People keep clamoring for a owner and we need one, but there are plenty of clowns out there we don't want running this team. Peyton and a ownership group would be great, and I have heard the entire manning family could be interested.....but then who is the majority with final say.....

The next year or 2 ahead will be very very interesting. I cant stand Bezos the man, but he is rich and has money so that's always a good thing as a football owner. However he is also as egotistical and self centered as it gets so I doubt he would be as hands off as Bowlen was on the football decision making side.
    Denver's 2024 George Paton Draft/FA plan

    Draft
    RD1- TE Brock Bowers, GA
    RD3- QB Spencer Rattler, SC
    RD4- CB Josh Newton, TCU
    RD5- S Reggie Pearson, OK
RD5- C Michael Jurgens, Wake Forest
RD6- K Jonah Dalmas, Boise St

    FA

I totally agree with your entire post. Just because one can have all the money in the world it doesn’t qualify you as an NFL owner and a perfect example of that is Dan Snyder who at first thought he could put together a championship team by buying a championship. He has failed miserably as an NFL owner.
Peyton along with some other investors would be an excellent choice, not sure the can get that kind of dough..

There was rumblings that Peyton could get a group of 10 parties in a ownership group. Him, His brother, and Father and seven others but no good rumors surrounding who could be the others, a even 10% split would be 400,000,000 each.......and one would be the majority so probably closer to a 1/2 billion for that stake. Peyton is rumored to be worth about 250 million, his brother 150 mil and his father around 20 mil, so the 3 of them could probably afford a 10% stake and that's about it lol. I don't buy the Peyton hype personally. A very rich billionaire or 2 is much more likely

Elway could also be part of the ownership. I’m sure if Mr. Bowlen was alive today he would’ve offered John a stake in the team.
