Thread: Jeff Bezos buying the Broncos?

There was rumblings I think this summer as well that Steve Ballmer who owns the clippers, Charlie Ergen a local in Colorado who owns Dish, and Larry Ellison who owns Oracle Corp also could have solo controlling owner interest. All 3 are very rich as well.

His net worth is about on par with Eli's though, so I really just don't have faith in a ownership group with such a high sale cost, while it would be great and the fans would love it, that's a insane price tag. In the grand scheme of things, Elway and Manning look a like very small players.

Exactly I just don't see those dots connecting at all. Its not to say they couldn't have a small stake at some point, but it wont be big enough to really be noticeable IMO based off that price tag, I think even local media is piping that dream up with out actually thinking about numbers.....

He's still Executive Chairman, and only relinquished his role as CEO. He still owns by far the most stock at Amazon.

Amazon is focused on getting Sunday Ticket away from DTV, I would have a hard time believing Bezos is going for ownership
