I mean I guess he could be part of a group but he is only worth about 30% of the franchise by himself, so It would need to be a big group. Controlling interest would be the big part of any deal like that, and its doubtful he would use his entire net worth so he at best would probably be able to get only a 20% stake as well which would be over half his current worth

Pretty sure he could come up with a few billion to buy the team with all the connections he has.

I think they should un-retire all numbers. The Steelers have never retired a number. Honoring players is what the ring of fame and statues are for.

Some people really don't understand how much a billion dollars really is.

A billion= 1000 million. So, if the Broncos sold for 3 billion, that's 3000 million dollars. Let's say you got 10 guys together to drop 30mil each. Congrats, you got 10% lol.

The only one that surprises me to this day that didn't get retired is TD's #30. Oddly I have both TD and Lindsay #30 jerseys. TD was special and John probably never gets that Lombardi without him. To me, he is every bit as important.

TD just didn’t play long enough. He had 4 years of success before the injuries took him out.

Neither guys number warrants a retirement. That should be reserved for legendary broncos who served the broncos for a long time.

I’m pretty sure he’s worth more than 1.4 but I understand google is your only source of information.

Jay-z would be the perfect owner though regardless of who ends up getting the team.
