Find the play, I never saw Surtain at MLB. Id like to see it because that would be a WTF
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

If talking about where Sterling got the TD, he came all the way across the field, where he was in kind of a slot cover position. If it's a different play, I would be curious to check it out. I don't recall that and think it's pretty unlikely he was truly playing MLB. In a dime situation, could they have had him in the middle, maybe, but that's not quite the same as playing MLB on a play designed to have an MLB on the field.

You must have misheard what he said, or Stink is just saying shit to say shit, which he has been known to do. I found Surtain lined up in man coverage on a tight end, but he’s not lined up here to play middle linebacker, he’s lined up here to be man up on the tight end because you have 11 personnel for the offense and dime personnel for the defense. Stink knows this, so I’m guessing he said something about being lined up near where a middle linebacker would be lined up. He certainly wasn’t playing middle linebacker. Johnson is the middle backer here. He’s blitzing.

*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

    What is this?

He’s fourth on the depth chart, he got burned. He didn’t play much after that. He’ll learn. What is even the point of this nonsense?
He played zero snaps after he got torched by Shepard. I mean, getting beat is one thing, but he has to make that tackle.

This will go right over his head like anything else deeper than a puddle, but I appreciate the effort nonetheless.

Okay I’m just telling you what mark said and he showed it as well and it just totally rubbed me the wrong way. If mark is wrong then whatever. But he surely said it and showed a glimpse of it

I listened to that segment earlier, and he doesn't make any comment, period. Jewel was in right on the line to rush, and as you said, Surtain was covering the Rudolph. He wasn't playing MLB, and Schlereth didn't say he was -- at least not on that play.

Mark didn't post a thread about it on BF.com.

Yeah, I just don’t do local radio. Too little to discuss in too much time and people end up saying dumb stuff just to fill time. I don’t know what Stink said, but Surtain wasn’t lined up at middle. He was lined up four times in the box, according to PFF and I saw two of them in a 10 minute rewatch of the first half, and they were both that exact situation. I mean, D-Mac is calling Bradley Chubb Robert Ayers on Twitter. That hurt my head enough to read that for 5 seconds, let alone listen to three hours of that nonsense.

Ayers was a bust. So if he’s implying that Chubb is a bust then wow……
