Thread: Twas the night before football

Twas the night before football and all the through the town
no was happy, their faces all frowned
They said the QB competition would be fair
Drew Lock had been better throwing the ball through the air
But when it came time to name the teams starter
Fangio decided it would be Teddy Bridgewater
The fans were divided over this approach
Some began to question their old lame duck coach
Some thought that the team should fire George Paton,
but perhaps it was Aaron Rodgers upon whom he was wait'n
No matter the case, no matter the reason
the fans tried to find some hope for this season
The schedule was soft, they could still start hot
and look at all the talent on this roster we've got!
Von Miller is healthy, his injuries are healed
and look at all the great DB's we can put on the field!
Courtland and Juedy and Hamler and Fant
Can anyone stop that? No they certainly can't!
Gordon and Javante will be lot of fun
to watch as they make tacklers miss whenever they run
But then again, as Bronco fans will remember
Fangio hasn't won a single game in September
And so continues the misery of this awful stint
of below average QB play and too many INTs
of misused timeouts and questonable calls
It's time for another typical season of Denver Football.
