And he's still saying this is a bad QB class and he doesn't see star potential in any of the top guys. Pretty bleak outlook on these guys from him.

    Yep, exactly what I said!

Biggest takeaway:*While I like some of the things I see from Rattler, he currently isn't on the same level as the Sooners' back-to-back No. 1 overall picks. Mayfield was a much more polished passer at this point in his career, while Murray's athleticism sets him apart. Both of those players have been able to overcome their size limitations to find success at the next level. I need to see quite a bit of development from Rattler in order to confidently predict next-level success.

He reminds me of:*This is a difficult one to find. I don't see any obvious comparisons for Rattler. My hope is that he will turn himself into a*Jeff Garcia*type of player in the NFL. Garcia lacked the ideal size/frame, but he made things happen with his accuracy, mobility and playmaking skills. I do think Rattler has that potential. When he plants his feet, he's very accurate. And he has the athleticism to make the off-schedule plays that allowed Garcia to flourish during his time in the pros. Rattler's not there yet, but I can envision the 20-year-old eventually arriving at that level of play.

Was listening to Bruce Feldman on a pod today, and he said from what he's seen of Rattler and from talking to NFL people, he'd be surprised if Rattler went in the first 75 picks if he entered the draft this year. Also said people connected to OU were telling him since the summer that Caleb Williams would pass Rattler at some point this year. Also said the scouting report on him was "average arm, average athleticism, questionable character".

I have been saying this he is in deep shit stock wise. He has to transfer, if he comes out he wont be drafted anywhere close to where he wants. I do feel they are piling on now for the shiny new toy in Williams, Rattler was a pre-season favorite for a reason, he didn't just lose his football skills, but decision making, maturity, leadership and protecting the ball all need lots of rehab right now.

Picker or Ridder will not be available in the 2nd, I don't think.

Now in mocks yes, then no if especially if they keep it up performance wise its going to be a battle for them mid 1st to late 1st to early 2nd. Might require some ammo to move back into rd 1. A 2nd rd pick for Tim Patrick would help maybe that 4th or 5th for Kyle fuller being rumored as well lol
